Experiencing Hip Pain?"Hi. I'm Peter Chirico with Chirico Physical Therapy and Wellness, and today, we're going to talk about groin pain. Now, there are many causes of groin pain and some are outside the scope of physical therapy or musculoskeletal problems. For example, someone can have a hernia and have groin pain, but the three main types of groin pain that we see in our ortho practice that we can help people with are the following three.
Number one is if you have a hip joint that's not moving properly, that can elicit groin pain symptoms. Number two, if you have a muscle strain from an activity or a sport, that can also cause groin pain symptoms, and the number three, you could have a nerve impingement of the muscles to the groin area that can also cause the same symptoms. So, these are three simple and common causes of groin pain that we see, and if you're suffering from groin pain, give us a call. We could get you in for a thorough evaluation and determine which of the three is causing your groin pain, and then you can decide to proceed with treatment to resolve the pain. If you'd like, give us a call. Our number is area code 909-345-3370 or you can contact us through our website at Chirico Physical Therapy and Wellness or chiricopt.com, and we'll get you in for a thorough evaluation. Well, I hope you found this video informative. If you're suffering or if you have a friend who's suffering, please feel free to forward this to them on Facebook. I hope that you found this informative, and I want to thank you for your time and wish you a good day. Bye-bye."
